Titikakasee / Lake Titikaka

Der Titikakasee liegt an der Grenze zwischen Peru und Bolivian auf 3800m, was es recht kalt macht sobald die Sonne weg ist. Ich war auf zwei verschiedenen Inseln hier im Titikakasee. Einmal auf den schwimmenden Inseln. Die Ureinwohner bauen Inseln aus schwimmenden Schilf und bauen darauf Haeuser auch aus diesem Schilf. Strom haben sie durch Solarzellen.
Die zweite Insel war eine normale Insel genannt Insel der Sonne. Angeblich ist hier die Sonne geboren. Es was wie am Mittelmeer, nur die Landschaft war etwas karger und die Nutztiere sind Lamas (auch zum Verzehr geeignet, aber sehr zaeh). Durch die Hoehe ist die Luft super klar und das Wasser extrem blau.

Lake Titikaka is at the border of Peru and Bolivia at 3800m, which makes it quite cold as soon as the sun is gone. I was on two different kind of island here on lake Titikaka. The first one were floating islands. The indeginous people build islands out of floating reed and they also build their houses out of it. The even have electricity through solar cells. The other island was a normal Island called Island of the Sun. Supposedly the sun was born here. It looks like at the Mediterranean Sea, only the landscape is scanter and the animal are lamas (also etible, but very chewy). Because of the altitude the air is very clear and extremely blue.
